The house is convenient for the beaches in the area. It is the second house from the corner of the busy road with double yellow lines outside, no parking, intermittent traffic noise at night unfortunately although not too bad.

First impressions, were not great, (sacks of rubble outside and full up bins), but inside initially seemed charming enough. As there were 5 adults and a 10 year old, we found that there was no-where to put our shoes, walking boots etc and the hallway was very narrow so these cluttered the entrance for 6 days we stayed. The picture of the courtyard on the advert looks very nice but in reality it is extremely tight space wise and the outside area and the seating on arrival was left unclean with bird droppings and mold, we did alert the owner and a cleaner came to power wash the next day and take away the rubble. We had problems when it came to showering / using the bathroom - no shower panel or curtain, therefore you have to sit fully in the bath and use a hand shower that was quite powerful and unpredictable to regulate, water going everywhere! Unfortunately on the second day my 73 year old (and fairly fit) husband slipped in this bath on getting out and hurt his back badly and gashed his elbow as there was no anti-slip mat provided or any hand rail (and we had no first-aid kit for the bleeding and none in the house), the reporting of this was met with hostility and defensiveness from the owner. For 6 of us we felt quite cramped in this little property; even though it states 4 double bedrooms, one of them is a small 4ft double bed pushed up against the wall and in that room the cleaning gadgets are stored behind a curtain containing the boiler which goes on and off at night. There were several small annoyances in this run-down property, see photos, (washing machine had stagnant water in it - decided we wouldn't use it, microwave tray had food on it, fridge was iced up, lock on the bathroom door was misaligned and hard to lock, lack of any wardrobes or chests of drawers to unpack clothes / only coat hangers provided hooked on the picture rails, downstairs loo seat loose (and was told that it was fine).

Location was great. Lovely kitchen.

Everything! Beautiful home. Great location. So much so we have booked to go back next year :)

Fantastic location and beautiful clean comfortable house. Very well equipped and felt like a home from home. Great comms with the host. Excellent value for money

Parking can be limited during the day but by evening time space can be found. Was warned about this so knew on arrival
