"Basics not done right, but nice touches."

Great central location - everything in Brodick was walking distance away. Kitchen was well stocked out. The shed had water sports equipment - never used it but nice to have. Decor was nice and felt homely. Wifi was good. Host was very responsive and really nice.

The basics were missing. Heating, cleanliness and tv. Major issues with heating - it was freezing cold in the flat. Host tried to sort remotely but only worked for a short while. Heating system is controlled with a google device - over complicated and clearly not working. Never got a good nights sleep as a result of waking up cold. Cleanliness was very poor. We pulled out the kitchen table to use and it was filthy behind. We had to wash almost all the cutlery and glasses we used. The tv remote had hairs stuck in the buttons. TV was awful. Considering the price per night, suprised to see such an old Satellite TV.
