Central Georgian Townhouse with Free Parking

The location to the city centre and all sites and facilities was brilliant.

Note: This would not be an ongoing issue and should not prevent us or anyone from staying here. Cold/tepid shower in one of the bathrooms. Reported to owners on day 2. (we thought our parents were doing something wrong prior to this). Apparently caused by a 'faulty valve' but was still a source of annoyance to our elderly parents (over bath shower in our bathroom proved to be too awkward for them to use on the 3rd morning). Would like to think that the quality in this regard could have been better or possible cost reduction for considerable inconvenience could have been offered (late check out offered was of no help). Bottom line, we paid for two fully operating showers and we did not get this. It just took the edge off of an otherwise wonderful stay in Bath.

The location speaks for itself - minutes from everything Bath city centre has to offer. The parking is convenient and easy to access. The property is compact but makes excellent use of the space, providing all the facilities and comfort you'd expect.

Whether it's an issue will depend on your mobility and desire to keep fit, but the house is narrow with one room on each floor (kitchen in the basement; lavatories with the bedrooms on the upper floors). You will spend a certain amount of time going up and down those stairs!

the pillows were not good and even though there was a washer, there was no detergent and there was no drier unfortunately.

This house is in an excellent location with so much accessible by foot. parking is included and only a short distance from the property. We stayed for 3 nights and found everything we needed for a comfortable stay in the house. Contact with the owners was great and they were very helpful.

Ideally situated for walking in the city. The house was really convenient for sightseeing and restaurants. Free car parking was such a blessing and the owners very helpful.

i would have been glad of a handrail on the stairs to the kitchen but we did get used to them.

The location was perfect for exploring Bath and the parking space was a great asset. The owners were extremely helpful.

The house was spotlessly clean and warm. The double bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was lovely. Great location and parking was easy, a great asset. Lovely surprise of wine and chocolates, and milk and water in the fridge.

The sofa was a bit uncomfortable, could do with one with arms. I also agree with a previous reviewer, that the layout of the lounge could be better. Perhaps a sofa on one end and a larger tv at the other. One side of the room is a waste of much-needed space. Not the fault of the property, but the refuse collectors were round at 06:30 Monday morning collecting glass recycling from the hotel behind!

The house is nice, warm and cosy, it had everything what we needed. The location is very good a proximity of 10min walk to shops and places to visit.

The stairs are very steep must be careful while coming down.
