Olympic Village Vela - Portland

When I got tobthe x properly I was told it was overbooked and that they had emailed me to let me know. But 1 day before my trip I got an email to say where to pick up the keys. Refused to acknowledge the email. 2 guests were diabetic and 1 had prostrate issues needed to rest but told to leave. Stay away from this place

Clean, well maintained and in a good location

The front door couldn’t be bolted on the inside to prevent my little “treasures” escaping. I spoke to the host who said they would look in to it. It is one of those things that unless you have children determined to escape you wouldn’t think of it.

Close to the sailing centre and very comfortable. Budgen close by at the Shell petrol station, Lidl not much further and Morrisons close by. The shell was a winner for "Cook" meals and sandwich packs for the sailors.

Heating isn't on - which for February was initially painful - but they had two dimplex plug in heaters which were surprisingly good.

Very clean well equipped and comfortable house
