Bell Tower

The location was amazing. The place has a lot of potential. Excellent collection of books and games. Kitchen is well equipped.

It is a bit dated. Bathroom needs a bit of cleaning. Furniture could do with an upgrade. A smart TV could help when the weather is not so great. The kitchen knives need sharpening.

The location and the village

Lovely location. Spacious property. Very clean. Good directions to property. Lovely touch of a few tea bags, washing up items etc at property. Lots of books and jigsaws should you need them. Would certainly suit a 2+2 family, and would be suitable for a longer holiday as it really is home from home.

Shame there isn’t an extra loo but it is clear in details. Bathroom would benefit from extractor fan due to shower but it’s an old property so there might be complications there.

The Bell Tower is part of the large manor house and located on the side of the house facing a small wooded area. There are 2 car parking spaces assigned to the property. Inside the Bell Tower the living room and dining room are charmingly rustic. The living room has a log burner, with complimentary logs, kindling and matches. Both rooms are very spacious. The kitchen is very modern with an 8 ring gas stove and electric oven and grill. The compact bathroom is clean and modern with a nice power shower. The bed was very comfortable, with fresh clean bedding. The absolute stand out is the location, up a private driveway approx 1/2 long, opening onto well trimmed vast lawns and the lovely big house. Very quiet and peaceful. We will certainly go back again.

I couldnt get the log burner to stay alight. (We didnt need it as there is central heating) Give a bloke wood, matches and some where to set it on fire and the inner caveman emerges! In all seriousness there was nothing to complain about.

Lovely place to stay great outdoor spaces. Loved the quirkiness of Bell Tower. Very spacious great kitchen facilities. Parking is good. Jaimie is a fantastic host and very helpful. We will definitely stay again if they will have us. Beds comfy, and clean. Lovely big walk in shower. Value for money

There isn’t anything we did not like

Straightforward communication, easily organised, friendly host, great location. The weather was beautiful and this made it a wonderful week. You can visit lots of worthy locations as it's centrally based and only a stone's throw from Hereford. This is not a boutique hotel, more of a home from home where you can put your feet with your dog and have a nice cup of tea.

The single bed needed a firmer mattress but other than that no complaints.

Accommodation very spacious and comfortable. Reasonably well equipped. Very dog friendly house and surrounding area. Lovely open fire, very welcome at this time of year.

TV reception not good.

It had character and it was like stepping into the Tardis. So much bigger than expected. If you want modern it’s not for you but if you want escape to the country and a peaceful comfortable stay it’s definitely for you

I liked everything

omg it was so warmly , beautiful place , spotless clean , the beds well I wish i could take it home so comfy 😴.. huge kitchen with everything you need , lounge with a lovely wood burn 🔥..bathroom good size with lovely walk it show . just everything so perfect for us .x
