"Idyllic Lodge for us to recharge our batteries."

The Lodge was beautifully presented in a fabulous location. The view was outstanding, looking out at yellow fields. The Hot Tub was under a tree, we felt like we were the only people there.

We could have done with a few more cooking utensils and we were unable to get normal TV even though the owner said there was a TV aerial so the channels should have worked. We had to download streaming services. This was disappointing but didn't spoil our break.

"Pleasant lodge, peaceful setting but could do with some maintenance and repairs"

A number of things were broken / didn't work, including the bracket to manoeuvre the hot tub lid which was disappointing. We had no contact from our hosts during our stay

We had a lovely two night stay at Foxwoods lodge. Great communication from the hosts before arrival as to how to find the lodge and get the key, the bottle of Prosecco was a lovely touch too! Exceptionally clean with a lovely homely feel.

There wasn’t really anything we didn’t like! Maybe some new placemats and knives, however this was very minor and a personal preference as we like to cook and eat in rather than venture out for dinner.
