RoSE COTTAGE THREE BEDROOM HOUSE WITH PARKING Summer Special

The cottage is beautiful my dad booked it last minute and we didn't know where we were going so it's was a beautiful surprise, there was 3 adults and 3 children total of 6 of us there was plenty of room everyone had there own privacy and the cottage was so cozy. Loved spending meal times as a family at dining area something we don't do much of at home so was lovely spending evenings in living room as a family watching movies and meal times together. We will all be back hopefully soon again. Emma was amazing so friendly and helpful and welcoming.

BeaUtiful , clean , quirky cottage with secure garden for children

the cottage was in a lovely location with fantastic views. the rooms were all a great size and main bedroom bed was super comfy. the main bedroom was really dark too and very quiet considering it’s on the main road. the little garden was great to sit out with coffee in the afternoon as it’s a great sun trap. the kitchen had all white goods available to use if required. bed linen was clean and fresh as were the towels.

the cottage is very damp, tired and outdated and smells musty. the decor is a bit hit and miss around the house. some parts look new (although damp showing through the wallpapers already) the front of the cottage was constantly cold as the sun doesn’t reach there. we had to use extra heaters in the bedroom. the main bedroom has damp around the bottom of the walls and the windows. throughout the downstairs there are no carpets meaning the floor is very cold all the time. the hot water was an issue and took a long time to heat in the bathroom. I did not feel comfortable using the shower as there is no privacy on the bathroom window, the bath was grimy and the room was freezing. the kitchen was grubby and there was food stuck to utensils, there was fat on an oven tray in the oven and garlic left in the cupboard along with split sugar. we had to clean the fridge before we put our own food in as it was very dirty. the boiler has an extension socket directly underneath which is a major fire hazard! upstairs the rooms look newly decorated with new carpets however the furniture was all old. the headboard full of dust and discoloured and all the chests of drawers throughout the property all smell damp and mouldy. the bedrooms upstairs could do with better black out curtains. thin white curtains does not keep out any light. the whole house was full of eccentric nicknacks which really aren’t required. the bathroom cupboards were also full of old shavers toothbrushes and toiletries. the house was very unloved which is a real shame. it feels like someone has abruptly left the property and it has been taken over as a holiday let without any proper upgrading.

Loved the area. Cottage was a little tired and could do with updating but given the price it was good value
