Reynards Retreat Lodge with Hot Tub

Leaving the lodge cleaner and tidier than it was in our arrival

Sofa was broken and unusable, mold in shower, neither the screen or parasol on decking worked, hot tud filter was minging and stained wardrobes full of unused bedding, basin in bathroom has make up and shaving whiskers all over had not been cleaned. Staff in JJ's not pet friendly and quite rude

Nothing at all

The lodge is disgusting and in an awful condition, all the furnishings are old and broken, the whole lodge needs updating, this also goes for the hot tub and decking area, there are barely any cushions, the umbrella base is rusty and fixed to the floor, the umbrella is not there to use, it’s in a dangerous position and stops you from walking to hot tub getting in/out, the pull out wind breakers are mouldy and broken, the decking furniture is broken. the lodge is sold as a prestige lodge and is not cheap, it is meant to sleep 6 adults, however the sofa bed is broken and impossible to sleep on, we have stayed in a few of these lodges and this is the worst it was awful, do not be fooled by the photos or the reviews I will include some of the photos we took to show any future guests, my advice would be avoid snd choose a different lodge

Beautiful on first sight, that's where it ended.

Billed as luxurious accommodation which to us starts with comfort, sofas uncomfortable, beds even worse, pillows you could spit through, most bedding and mattresses stained with no mattress covers, the grill rack coated with previous occupiers burnt offerings for us to clean. We tried to offer constructive feedback rather than complaining to aid future guests but were met with the robotic answers of, oh no one said this before only to read they have. I'm sure it can be a stunning place to stay but really needs some attention to detail for the price you pay. Disappointed 😞

Great location ane lovely lodge. Had everything you could need and was very comfortable

Very clean and nice but no answer from emergency number when needed and boiler wasn’t working when we got there
