Lovely clean home. Spacious, warm, kitchen amenities excellent. Welcome pack excellent and thoughtful. Great location for sight seeing and good taxis to Portree for dinner Beds really comfy too.

Location and views. Host has thought of everything that you would require while travelling. The suggest itinerary was very helpful.

Ongoing issues with hot water and pressure. We were glad to check out.

The location was nice and the beds were comfortable. The house was very clean.

The hot water left a lot to be desired. The hot water tap in the kitchen took over 5 minutes to warm up and never developed more pressure than a trickle. When we asked the host about it we were told that was "just how it was in the country". The bathroom showers were tricky as well, poor water pressure and VERY sensitive to any adjustment of the temperature. The towel racks only worked intermittently as well. We also ran into issues with the washing machine. Just a heads up, laundry detergent is not provided, so you'll need to purchase your own. Which is completely understandable, but a little heads up would have been nice. The reason we were given when we asked about it was that it was to allow for personal preference and allergies - which I found ironic since the bedding and towels smelled strongly of fabric softener. There was also an issue with the washing machine door, after running a couple loads of laundry it wouldn't open. We contacted the host and gave her permission to come check it out while we were out for the day. Big mistake. I received a phone call a few hours later during which I was berated and chastised for breaking the washing machine door handle. It's not as if we had been opening and closing the washing machine aggressively or broken it maliciously. And the host was able to fix it rather quickly (upon my own further research, this is a very common issue with that model of washing machine). She was also very upset at us for hanging our wet laundry throughout the sun room, which we had only done because it was expected to rain that day and we didn't want to leave clothes out on the line while we were gone. The host proceeded to tell us that it wasn't going to rain that day, spoiler alert, it did. Overall the situation was handled poorly and the host was unnecessarily rude and aggressive about things.

A perfect location close to Portree with easy access to everything the Isle of Skye offers.

Location. Great house. Nice views. Well kept and clean. Would love to stay again for longer. Was nice that Jaqualine left care package to help get us started.

Thermostat not controlled by customer. Became very cold on rainy, cold, windy nights. Had each room on max and house was set at a very cool 22C/71F. If you’re going to manage control of heat, please ask customer what temperature they might be comfortable at prior to stay.
