The Moorings - Duplex apartment on Torquay Marina with Hot Tub

Location was brilliant.. apartment very clean and very newly furnished I guess. The beds were exceptionally comfortable...it was like sleeping on a cloud, what wonderful mattress toppers! Impressive TV and lighting. The apartment is lovely, and an interesting design to fit the space. Lack of windows didn't bother us at all. Well furnished and thought out. A bit more in the kitchen would be useful.

There was only 1 toilet roll in each bathroom, and it needed somewhere to dry the towels after hottub..a washer/dryer would have been useful. 1 dishwasher tablet is a bit mean? A bit more in the welcome pack should be considered? I wasn't impressed to have to fill the hottub myself....we have a self catering holiday rental and our hottub is full and hot when renters arrive. There should also be a step, I am short and found it very difficult to get in. The steps up to apartment were very steep for people in their 70's and it wasn't obvious just a couple photos.

only 1 bin bag for 6 days/3 adults and 3 sheets of foil provided. Also a lack of plates etc which meant we had to wash up each time we ate anything.

The apartment is in a very good location. There are lots of food places to eat and beautiful little coffee shops. The town centre is a 4 to 5 minutes walk where you will find all the high street retailers. The apartment has spacious two bedroom with on suite and closet to hang and place your personal clothing items. A living area with a large screen TV where you can watch a various apps such as YouTube, Netflix and so on. The kitchen is spacious with all the appliances and cutlery you need for your stay. It is beautifully newly decorated with high end furniturnishing. It has a large hot tub just outside your apartment front door.

As being a new built property, the house keeping was not the best. There was dirty cups in the kitchen cupboards. Hair in the bed, seemed like the bed sheets were not changed, considering you are charge £150 fee for the apartment to be clean. You have on top clean the apartment before you leave which I don't mind that at all but why charge £150? The bedrooms are located at the back of the apartment, around 9pm onwards you can hear people/staff talking loud even through the closed windows, making it hard to sleep. If the windows are open you can smell them smoking.
