Lizzie off grid Shepherds Hut The Buteland Stop

Brian was down to see us on the first night & available if we were to need anything. So quiet! Another hut was nearby but we heard nothing from that direction. Didn’t even hear the rain on the roof as you might on a tent or caravan. The hut was comfortable & warm. No need to put the fire on. Really close to Bellingham for walks, retail therapy and good pub food.

The chemical toilet was a new experience for us. Took a while to figure it out.

It was so peaceful and the views were stunning, lovely area. Owner Brian was very welcoming and helpful. Short drive away from Bellingham and close to Hareshaw Linn, which my dog and I absolutely loved. I would definitely recommend this and will definitely be returning!

I loved the area and the solice. Could not have stayed longer than a couple of nights, but for a quick stop over ideal. Lots of things thought of. For a small it provided adequate comfort.

It looked clean, feel like it could have had a bit more effort put into cleanliness.

I have stayed at "Lizzie" before so I knew it would be clean and comfortable.

location, facilities

Novel, comfortable and secluded just as I expected and wanted. Ideally situated to explore Kielder and surrounding areas.
