Flat 2 Fairfax Place - Modern stylish flat with plenty of charm in central Dartmouth

A well appointed flat in a great location in the heart of Dartmouth. A good kitchen and bathroom.

The whole building is riddled with damp and the flat smelled damp too. The plaster inside the WC is peeling and looks awful. The window frames are all rotten. The stairwell is steep and damp - there’s a damp smell in the air.

The location and parking situation was great. The furnishings were excellent apart from the sofa but we didn't mind. Nice and clean which is a given.

Can't really criticise anything without being super picky....teapot and egg cups would have been nice.

Location was great… kitchen was lovely to cook in although I would recommend a whisk and a tin opener

This flat is absolutely beautiful and was cleaned to a high standard. The location is also perfect! There were a few issues when we arrived, however the letting company notified me of these just before we went in and had already arranged for someone to come out to do repairs (hook fallen down behind bathroom door, wardrobe door hanging off and curtain rail hanging down). It was a Saturday so couldn't be fixed until the Monday. The curtain rail actually fell down during the night and so had to sleep with no curtains in the main bedroom for the first two nights. Communication was good throughout though and the lettings company were lovely to deal with. In all, we had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back. Dartmouth itself is gorgeous and there is a lot to do.

Stylish and spacious.

Would have been nice to have a welcome box, there was blood stain on our bed sheet, the heating system (the instructions in the booklet didn’t match up and there was also a note on the controls saying not to touch? The kitchen area was very cold in the evening.) Some toilet/antibacterial wipes would have been a nice addition. As would some board games/books and information booklets about the local area.

Great position in centre of town, fantastic kitchen and bathroom, lovely apartment, well equipped and spotless.

Sofa in lounge kept coming apart. Also on arrival, large pool of yellow water in hallway on ground floor.

Double mattress too soft, a topper has been added, but mattress sunk in the middle - I would replace. Odd to have coffee pod machine but no pods! No sign of a seagull proof refuse sack
