It was very clean, well situated! We could even hear the lion roaring down the road which was lovely. The kitchen was kitted out with everything you could need, we cooked from there most days we were there, which saved us a lot of money! It was so quiet and peaceful, very hidden away and felt nice and safe. The wall heaters heated up super fast and kept the rooms nice and cosy. The hosts had left us fresh milk and coffee/tea facilities, however neither of us drink milk, but it was a lovely touch! There was also £6 already in the metre for electric which was perfect for our stay.

Sadly we did have some issues with the smoke alarms, but the host rang us back and sorted it straight away, he was super polite and helpful and completely apologetic for the issue. The water pressure was a little slow but the temp was great and bathroom facilities were perfect otherwise.

Everything was perfect, lovely little Chalet, extremely homely and had everything you needed, perfect location, close to the beach, nice and quiet, great contact throughout, would deff visit again, I really can't recommend this chalet enough.

Although we had a great week it wasn't quite ideal with an extra large dog, especially as we managed to get stuck in a freak storm for two days which was so bad they cancelled all the ferries after ours for 48hours, so was very difficult trying to stay clean and dry after being outside and even taking the dog for a toilet break was a mission as the entire holiday park was flooded. You cant control the weather and we were just extremely unlucky. If the weather had even been a bit better it would of been a completely different story however none of this is a reflection on Chalet Driftwood or the owners and we would of had this issue where ever we had stayed and obviously despite the weather we wanted to make the most of our time and see the island.

Great accommodation and amenities all you could wish for. It was very much appreciated that they took the time to thank us for leaving the chalet clean and tidy.

Nothing. Everything was up to standard and we would recommend to anybody for a nice break.
