Every where in the house was very clean and the host was very kind and helpful

Large house with plenty of space for 7 of us. The washing machine was well used. The outside patio was nice if the weather had cooperated. The host was responsive when I advised there was no hair dryer and even provided a USB plug we were in need of.

Start up for the hot water was a litte confusing but worked well. The key code wasn't provided until check in time of 3 pm so if you're early I'm not sure you could get access. Not many dining options nearby but several convenience markets proved adequate for heat up meal options.

There was not much to like.

There is a lot of things. First of all i was asked to stay in a 4 bed house for a night and then move to actual booking. Looked like whoever was staying there offered them more money for another night and they thought it is okay to make my and my family trip uncomfortable for one night. Then I had a commitment that i will leave 4 bed property at 11am and then go straight to 6 bed house. When i took family there, the house was horribly messy and the cleaners were in. Called the property manager and he lied saying he said 12 noon. I have a message to prove that. My family had to wait on driveway for more than an hour for the cleaning to be done. I informed them i am in London for a wedding and got late for the funtion due to the accommodation not being ready. When i checked in 4 bed house there was a massive leak in the downstairs toilet. My wife slipped and i told the guy and the response i got was so what? The back door would not lock. There was no smoke alarm. In 6 bed accommodation there was no smoke alarm and the sitting room light was not working. Message him asking where the thermostat isnfor heating no reply for that. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS GUY. I am a very frequent booking.com customer but by far this has been my worst experience. My commitment with the property was 3 night. I had to check out and check in again after waiting for it to be cleaned. The main external image is of the wrong propert as well.

There was good space, comfortable beds, the cleaner was still there on arrival and was v friendly. The location was perfect as we were in between two locations in barking and Chadwell heath for the majority of our stay so it was nice and central to them and cut down on our journey times. Good back garden space incl washing line. Was useful. Electric towel rails were appreciated. Iron and ironing board available, hoover etc. Lockbox is convenient for when members of our party were arriving at different times. Parking was good, neighbours were friendly. 10min walk to tube station and shops was convenient.

I'd have preferred to receive the code earlier. The downstairs shower had no hot water. The upstairs (top floor) shower seemed clogged but I couldn't figure out how to open it to clean it so the water would drain properly. For a 6 bedroom property there wasn't many cups/ kitchen utensils, perhaps they'd been taken by previous occupants. I couldn't find the clothes airer listed.
