Premium Lake Lodges

Lovely view, especially first thing in the morning, clean and well equipped. Peaceful and cosy when windows are closed. Very convenient for Chichester and surrounding areas, we went to Boxgrove Priory, Weald and Downland open air museum, Chichester cathedral, Bosham Harbour, Fishbourne Roman Villa. Free parking beside the lodge.

The bunk beds were too tiny for our tall 12 and 17 year olds, son had to sleep on the sofa - luckily that was long and comfortable! When the windows are open you can hear the road and the quarry trucks. You need a car, it would be unpleasant crossing the dual carriageway to get in and out on foot.

The pod was perfect. Clean, warm and with everything you needed. We were able to cook and watch tv. There was a problem witn the wifi but was easy to contact the owner who responded quickly and the issue was fixed as soon as they could. The views are great. So peaceful even near the busy road. Shame it was a bit too cold to enjoy the balcony as much as we would have liked. The beds were comfy and sofa bed easy to put up and away. Brilliant little find and so close to the city centre. Easily walkable. Large Sainsbury's and fast food just across the road

Only issues wete the lack of WiFi but this was resolved and the lights flickered a bit at times but didnt cause real issue. You do have to cross a main road to walk anywhere but it wasn't that busy really and find to cross with caution The bottom bunk bed was a bit low and probably only really suitable for smaller children.

Great view and proximity to the town

Kitchen utensils are limited. No bottle opener or can opener. The Bunk beds are a little small, really only suitable for children not teens.

It has an excellent location, being both very private but accessible to Chichester easily via car. It is nice and comfortable, with everything compact but enough for a short stay. I could control the heating and it gets warm quickly with plenty of hot water. It has a lovely relaxing view with lovely sunsets on clear evenings. It's very clean and towels provided, plus tea towel and washing up liquid and bowl.

Occasionally loud motorbikes on A27 can be heard.

The view is great, and the hob, microwave and fridge proved really helpful

It was too small for our stay (we are a family of 4 - two kids and adults) - may be better for individuals or couples. Also WiFi didn’t work which was a pain. The team in all fairness tried to resolve it but it didn’t work. There was also quite a bit of mould and damp which led to the toilet roll provided being damp. So maybe more could be done with that and the cleaning - we could not fully relax.

Perfect for what we wanted...a little bolt hole for the weekend. Lovely views from sofa bed/balcony. Very peaceful. Lucy with the weather. Good late leaving time.

Bunk bed rather wobbly...made for a rocky night for our daughter who was up top! Perhaps need attaching to the wall?

The view over the lake was so tranquil and a great get away to relax.
