The Barn at Rigg End

The Barn at Rigg End is stunning! It is huge, modern, well equipped, really beautiful and so peaceful. Plenty of room for the 5 of us (a bathroom each and one spare!), and nice touches like the amazing BBQ, spring water filtered and chilled through the fridge, made it so perfect. Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay only half hour drive too. Thank you so much!

Nothing - everything was great!

Fantastic accommodation and superb views. Hosts were around if you needed them but not annoying like some properties we have stayed at and didn’t have a problem with unexpected guests arriving as a surprise. Lovely and toasty seeing as we had snow. Path to bedrooms and steps to house was cleared so not a problem.

Directions to find barn would have been better in a message as unfortunately we lost signal and signage at end of drive was poor. In terms of cooking poor selection, one sauté pan but no actual frying pan and no grill rack to use in oven. Not particularly toddler friendly despite saying it was ok to take a toddler. Open stairs from kitchen diner and also open plan to lounge so had to rearrange sofas as a barrier. Sink in twin bedroom was tricky to empty but that was trivial but annoying. Signage on bins would be helpful and assume that another holiday let was at top of steps, had that been occupied parking would be tricky and tight.
