The beds were comfortable

This should have been a special family weekend away to attend a family wedding, but the accommodation was very poor and we were all disappointed by it. The property was very damp and smelt damp in all rooms. The property is in need of decorating, and the flooring is raised in parts which is dangerous to walk on without shoes in the kitchen. There was no hanging space in the front bedroom. The lounge space is not big enough for 8 people to comfortably sit together.

Didn’t have breakfast. In the town area it was lovely.

The location and the price! The beds were comfortable and the property was clean.

Generally the house was run down and needs a bit of TLC especially the bathrooms. Not enough seats for 8 to sit at the table and the front garden was a mess with broken garden furniture in it.

Location was good and easy walking distance to town centre.

Leaking toilets ( ensuite was unusable for the duration of our stay, despite reporting the problem) rubbish in front garden, general poor maintenance and insufficient facilities ( seating in lounge/ kitchen, cooking utensils etc) for 8 people. Of even more concern was safety . House is totally unsuitable for young children - Steep cellar steps through unlocked door in hallway and no safety limiters on upstairs windows. A child or adult could easily fall through. All issues and concerns were reported to Purestay ( managing agents) at the time and although compensation was originally offered, this has not been honoured and Purestay are failing to return phone calls or respond to emails.

The location was close to town which made it easy to walk around. The house had enough space for all of us to be comfortable.

Needed some TLC particularly outside area which wasn't comfortable if you wanted to sit outside

Well situated for our needs, rooms as described clean and comfortable

TV was a bit of a pain

Overall it was great for our needs. Maybe could do with decor being refreshed. In the downstairs bedroom the bathroom needs some attention and the both needs a mat for showering as rather dangerous getting in and out. The towels supplied were quite small so bath sheets would be more appropriate. The weather was quite hot during our stay so we used the outside area but the garden furniture could also do with upgrading as the table seemed rather unstable.
