Very spacious house great for family get together - beautiful gardens - great communication with host

Lovely cottage, plenty of seating for all. Great host, very communicative.

Lack of bathrooms (which we already knew on booking). Needs breakfast/cereal bowls as only wide, pasta type bowls available at breakfast.

Great for our family with 4 adult children and their partners. Lovely quiet location

Dishwasher didn’t work

The location was perfect, and the surroundings were peaceful.

Although the house was well presented, I thought it was a little expensive, but a good experience overall :)

The house is really large, comfortable and well equipped. Within reach of lovely walks but you might not want to leave as there is so much space for relaxing and socialising, including a balcony as well as more space in the garden. There were lots of lovely touches that made the place look and feel luxurious, from the way the beds were made to how the towels were folded, all of which gave a very welcome atmosphere. The dining and kitchen spaces were especially great as they enabled our large group of old friends to prepare food and eat together comfortably.

I think Heidi may have had a bad experience with noisy guests, so there were noise monitoring devices in a couple of rooms which made us feel a bit paranoid when we wanted to listen to and dance to music! Not unreasonable though and it definitely helped us limit the volume. The only access to a shower or bath was through one of the bedrooms, which was no issue for us but means this house suits families or friends who know each other well.

Lovely dining room and very comfortable. Quite good garden space.

The bunk bed was not really adequate for 12 - 14 year olds
