Stones Throw

Stones Throw is beautiful! The most amazing accommodation we've stayed at in Whitby. The decor, location and cleanliness is spot on. We all loved it and instantly felt comfortable and at home. We even managed to get our car parked easily over our entire stay.

Wee quibbles - the big bed (2 x smaller beds together) in the master bedroom is rather ropey... could do with some new mattresses! Half our family absolutely loved the bath, however my Mum and brother (with arthritis and dodgy knees) struggled to use it!

Bath was very high & deep. Difficult for 87 year old mum to get in and out of shower. Needed assistance. External light for steps would have been good. (Might have been one but didn't find it) Please put house number on correspondence. Had to walk up and down road in the dark looking for "Stones Throw"

Shower mixer - couldn't work it out, either too hot or too cold

The property was locally situated within a short walk down the hill to the town centre and all the amenities. Rooms were clean and spacious with all the facilities toy needed. Comfy beds in each room, Situated on a residential traditional terraced street , nice and quiet.

Very difficult to park on the street, we moved to go out for the day away from Whitby and could only manage to park 4 streets away on our return, and after a good 15 minutes driving round to find a parking space.

It was really clean and well equipped

My only negative comment would be using the shower it took a while to work out, maybe add the instructions into the visitor manual

The house was lovely, had everything we needed and the location was perfect. Would definitely stay there again.

The house was pleasent and decorated well - the beds were comfortable & the shower was hot and had good water flow. Dog friendly!

Parking was an absolute nightmare! - could not get a space near. And one toilet & shower was not enough for five people. The neighbours argued for hours on the last night of our stay shouting and swearing to the point where I was going to call the police - you could hear everything. The house could do with a pair of oven gloves & maybe change the welcome booklet as we did not have Disney/netflix/amazon/welcome biscuits etc.

We came to the Whitby Soul Weekender and the house was perfect as it felt like home from home.

Due to 6 adults staying it would have ideal for a 2nd toilet/bathroom. It was not a problem though as we all worked round one another.
