Hael Farm Cottage

My Wife and I booked a short break to celebrate my 65th birthday at Hael Farm Cottage. When we arrived, we were very impressed with the cleanliness, layout and facilities of the cottage. There was a hamper left for us with some provisions and Jon (the owner) popped around to ensure we had everything we required and that we had settled in okay. The surrounding area is beautiful and great for either short or long walks. We found the cottage very relaxing and thoroughly enjoyed our time there, so much so we will be booking a longer stay next year. I would definitely recommend this cottage, if you want a peaceful and comfortable holiday break.

great house, plenty of room for 5. It's a 10 minute walk from the village and cliff top trails. directly on walking and biking trails at a very quiet and pretty farm. we loved the well equipped kitchen and living room. the beds were very comfy indeed.

The facilities were very accommodating and convenient. The location was lovely.

There was nothing bad to say the people were lovely and the property was perfect.

Power shower definitely could do with some more power!

The location is perfect for exploring the Gower. We were extremely pleased with the cottage, spotlessly clean, with everything that you could think of that you need for a very comfortable stay. The welcome basket was a lovely added surprise. Jon the host was lovely and couldn’t be helpful enough.

Amazing cottage and location. The beautiful cottage had more amenities than we anticipated. Jon was super helpful when we got a little lost. Amazing host. Our dog was welcomed and thoroughly enjoyed the log fire, as did we. Can't wait to visit again.

Nothing - it was perfect.

Gorgeous cottage. We're used to upside down living in our own home so lounge upstairs just helped us make the most of our lovely views over the neighboring farm. Spotlessly clean with modern decoration and comfy beds. Our little dog was made welcome and John was on hand as he lives next door, yet respectful of our privacy. Gorgeous little welcome hamper which was very much appreciated. We truly loved it. Local village amenities include smashing village shop and cafe which served lovely breakfast. Also a pizza takeaway that was amazing. We certainly felt chilled and relaxed ... the peacefulness meant we all slept so well we missed half a day... couldn't believe the time when we got up .😅
