Little West Hill Studio

The idea of what the property had to offer. Balcony, sofa bed as mezzanine was difficult for us. It limited acces to toilet so we elected to use sofa bed.

Sofa bed really uncomfortable. Tv did not work. No welcome pack such as sachets tea, coffee sugar milk. Cobwebs and spiders indoors. Sliding door were full of smudges and liquid spilt on them. Balcony was unswept and covered in bird s**t. Mould in bathroom. And sink too small. Nowhere to store ladder to mezzanine so in middle of room. Food debris on chair and generally grubby.

The location was excellent.

There was mildew on the mattress protector ( photo enclosed, enlarge photo to see it). The plastic table cloth on the outside table was filthy and covered in mildew (photo enclosed). The large front window was full of cobwebs above the sliding doors. We payed £450:00 for 2 nights which was way overpriced. We’d have been better off in a small B&B ! Needless to say we won’t be back.

Lovely view and location. Convenient. Friendly owners. Attractive and well managed garden. Relaxing and private. Comfortable sofa bed.

Needed just a little maintenance eg patio area but just a little sprucing up.above door area and table.

Well designed and maintained studio apartment with mezzanine sleeping platform, which has view of sea and across to Portland. Accessed via owner's beautiful garden, with on-site parking. Has private balcony, with view of sea, where you can relax and listen to the birds. Owners are helpful and friendly. Approx 5 minute walk to and from town, though up/ down steep hills, so you get lots of exercise! New EV rapid charger at Holmbush car park at the end of the road is very handy if you need to charge up.

The property is beautifully designed with lots of glass and light, but the lack of blinds at apex of front windows means it gets very light, very early and can get quite hot.

Lovely hosts. Wonderful location.

It would be perfect if the facility offered Wi-Fi

Great little location with parking, walking distance from town and beach. Had all facilities we needed. The host has 2 ducks that look after his allotment and they were such a joy to watch from our sea view balcony.

Super nice owners/family. Location. Parking! Perfect little spot and served us well.

No Wifi. The toilet/bathroom is also your shower room. Not a major, but wasn't super evident in the pics.
