"Pleasant enough stay"

5.0

A Pleasant enough stay, however was a little bit disappointed A little care to the outside area would enhance a stay, the outdoor dining table and chairs have seen better days and could do with replacing. With our dog it would have been lovely to have a secure fenced off area as the current one could easily be jumped, the grass could do with some attention as there were weeds and thistles on and around. Cleaned the toilet as it was clear that it hadn’t been done under the seat. For the £5 a night £15 in total. for my dog to stay it would have been nice to have had something on arrival for him. I’m glad a brought my own tea and coffee as inside the coffee container was a hard lump of mouldy coffee. The fresh eggs, flower and bread were lovely however. We chose this location to get away from it all. Being in the middle of nowhere, stunning views. I Was slightly disappointed as instead of an undisturbed view we had a camper van with water being collected just outside the house. If people are going to stay and camp in the field it would be an idea to have large shrubs or bushes for privacy. Overall a pleasant stay.

"Our stay was nothing short of amazing, we enjoyed every minute of peace and quiet."

Cosy, warm and stunning cottage in an even more stunning location. Just a short walk away from the river with plenty of walking trails close by. Ideal for adventure and a great opportunity to snap some pictures.

Nothing!

"Gorgeous and comfortable cottage with attentive hosts"

10.0

The cottage was SO well done! Clearly an ancient building, but the interior are so beautiful and high quality. It was warm and comfy. Plenty of space and facilities. The views out of the windows were just gorgeous.

"Quirky unique cottage in amazing location."

7.0

A very quirky property at the end of a one way track. Fabulous views and very well equipped. Huge TV that couldn’t compete with the views from the picture windows. Fresh free range eggs and bread were a lovely touch. Lovely walks from the property.

Its SW Devon so it’s very wet everything outside is damp so new wipe down outside furniture to sit on would be great it was too damp to sit on existing wooden seating. Garden is not secure for a dog and it would be great if even a little bit was fenced so the dog could sit out unaccompanied. Foliage to door needs cutting back as you got very wet loading and unloading the car.

"Just what we needed"

9.0

Gorgeous location, very clean property. Homely, with everything you might need for a relaxing escape from the city. The bath in particular, was wonderful.

Bedrooms highly contrast in terms of space and grandeur, so better for families than 2x couples.
