Location in Ballater. Good kitchen. Lovely en suite main bedroom.

Sofa bed in lounge…..there are no curtains on the velux windows so you get woken up at 5 in the morning. Missing bedding on arrival but was rectified. Overflowing rubbish in bins on drive.

We have stayed in Dormie a few times before, location is amazing and the garden size is great for our dogs.

The property is needing renovated, on arrival all the windows had been stripped back and not finished so looked very tired. The chairs in the kitchen, were all marked along with the bathroom that had a sign on it saying they know it looks tired to have an awful smell. We did advise and the cleaner came to put drain cleaner down. We work in construction and the smell seems to be from the drains or perhaps a leak that has not been repaired. It's a shame, as we felt for the price we paid compared to other properties in the village it was cheeky.

Breakfast was not provided. Location was great, easy to walk downtown. Lots of natural light, very quiet! Great shower, wonderful towels, loved the towel heater. Outdoor sensor lights, great. Off street parking good.

Comfortor cover without a sheet was rough and uncomfortable. It was warm several nights and the beautiful comfortor was too heavy and there was not a lighter option. 1 guest had a very flat pillow , more like a pad. The write up states toiletries were provided, only thing was toilet paper and liquid hand soap. Small soap and small shampoo would have been nice.

Location, bright, enclosed garden, all on one level, modern, nice people to deal with. Main bedroom and en suite very nice as is kitchen and dining area. Both Modern and bright. Nice patio area and well kept garden.

Family bathroom not up to standard, no door lock, shower not great, very noisy fan. Window in second bedroom doesnt open making it very hot at night. TV slow loading web content.
