Whitebrook Cottage

Lovely cottage - perfect for what I needed. Very cosy rooms, lovely big bath. Perfect if you are attending a wedding at Stanley House Hotel and Spa - it is a 4 minute drive to the venue. Lovely bakery next door. The cottage doesn't have a garden but a couple of lovely pubs nearby which were lovely to sit in.

Quaint little cottage which feels like we were in the The Holiday film. A real home from home with gorgeous period features. The hosts were really welcoming and accommodating.

Always a lovely, clean place to stay. Great for kids too

The cottage was beautiful. Very clean and neat. Beds were comfy and loved the Highland cow theme. Shower was great. Kitchen well equipped and the log burner was cute.

Liked everything. Our 4th time staying and we would have stayed longer if it had not been booked. Very cosy, value for money, superb. Customer for life.

Whitebrook Cottage is a characterful property, it gives the impression of being refurbished relatively recently while still maintaining its charm (the stairs don’t all seem to be the same height and the upstairs floors are a bit uneven). The property has everything you need, smart TV, WiFi, microwave, toaster and the like; the bathroom is nice, with a decent sized bath with a shower over. The two bedrooms are nice though we only slept in one so can’t guarantee that both beds are equally comfortable.

There’s nothing I didn’t like about the property. There is probably room to park outside but there was a large piece of broken car bumper on the road which was a bit worrying so I parked at the bottom of the hill, near the Mellor Brook Bridge.

What a lovely place! Loved it. Really nicely done and felt like a home from home!

Smashing place really liked it. Very quiet and relaxing .
