New Bury Cottage near Goodwood

It was a recently furnished and decorated property which was clean and spacious.

There is nothing to dislike about the property. Potential visitors should be aware that you would need your own transport to reach shops and restaurants but we were aware of this and not an issue.

My partner and I LOVED the quiet, the peace, the serenity. The entire feel of the property and cleanliness and in particular, how lovely Debra was. She dropped us a lighter for the fire and we had a lovely chat. Apart from this we were left to our own devices again until we checked out and were sent on our way by the lovely Debra! The property is absolutely spotless, the bathroom has products provided, the kitchen stocked with all the utensils etc you need and the beds were cosy too. Our star piece: The fire! We thoroughly enjoyed our cosy quiet weekend and could honestly hear no noise at all. Perfect for solo travellers, couples, somebody wishing to write their next book maybe or simply work away from the hustle and bustle. Also great for families. (Even provided were some games in the cupboards!) There was nothing we didn’t like (a bath would be a beautiful addition although not necessary) and we have every intention of returning. Our little “home from home”. Thank you :)

This is a true gem in the country. Quiet, serene, exquisite — just lovely. The hosts are incredibly friendly, accommodating, generous, and caring without being in your face, despite living next door. The beauty, comfort, and quality of the house aside, the surrounding area is one of the best pieces of English countryside I've seen. Chichester, the nearest town is to die for. 18 mins' drive away is the great beach of East Wittering. There are fresh eggs, beautiful trees, lovely people... What not to like! We will be back — with bells on!

Nothing :) Oh maybe more kitchen pans and pots but then we stayed a long time, thus did a lot of home cooking so may not be so necessary for short stays. But overall nothing to complain about. Consider it a little wish. Another wish — which was granted on the day we arrived — would be a desk in the lounge. I hope the hosts keep it there or replace it with a more indoorsy alternative as with many people working from home, it becomes a prerequisite for longer-staying guests and one prefers to look out from the window to the charming greenery than sit in the cool kitchen. Again, just little wishes from the fairy :)

Loads of space and beautiful standard of furnishing/decor. Well equipped kitchen, plenty of parking and had plenty of extras (log burner and big TV with Netflix)

We loved absolutely everything
