The Old Schoolhouse

Clean and comfortable rooms and bed, access to hot tub, and peaceful and quiet

No major grumbles. A couple of observations are that it would be nice if there was a sliding coach bolt on the inside of the door leading to the hot tub. There is no lock and it is on a public access pathway, so having a lock when you're in the hot tub would give security. The only other thing is that it would be nice to have an arrangement of coffee/tea/biscuits etc on entering to welcome you, otherwise everything was great.

Lovely house, well decorated, very good price for the winter months. Big towels and some bathrobes for hot tub. Tea (all decaf or flavored though) and coffee available. Pitch black bedrooms. Very quiet. Great location and parking. Right next to the train line but you can’t hear it. Excellent directions as quite hard to find (if you read them before you arrive - it helps!!). Would definitely stay again.

No corkscrew for our wine. We were staying in winter months and the the hot tub is not directly accessible from the house so if you’re planning on sitting in the hot tub whilst little ones sleep you won’t be able to (you may even come across people walking down the lane as you go to the tub!). You’ll also need Flipflops to get to it (which you may not have with you in January!)

Lovely property, thoughtfully decorated for Christmas! Easy walk into Whitstable and down to the harbour. Enjoyed using the hot tub even though it was December.

Nothing - had everything we needed. Perhaps a couple of hooks on doors to hang bathrobes?

The attention to detail. The decor. The layout was lovely.this is our 4 time stay & not our last. The hot tub Is the best.

The property is nicely located near both the station and the high street. The property itself was superb it was very neat and smelled lovely
