Loved the location. The property was lovely and clean and very comfortable. Big television in every bedroom. Loved the extra touches like the ginger cake and biscuits.

The only criticism would be to have an extra toilet

TV needs retuning every time.shower very hot had to turn boiler hot water down. Wrong password provided for door.

We found the standard of cleanliness a little disappointing. Shower cubicle looked moldy around the outside. Kitchen cupboard under the sink smelt very musty along with the cupboard in the dining room. We opened up the washing powder compartment of the washing machine, intending to use it, but it was disgusting inside so we decided against using it. It all just felt a little unloved. Chairs in the lounge along with the cushions needed cleaning, recovering or something as they looked dirty and tired. Beds a little uncomfortable and pillows very flat. I appreciate its dog friendly and this can make it a little harder to keep everything ‘spick and span’. However, we’ve stayed in several dog friendly homes all of which have been kept spotless and you wouldn’t have been aware that numerous dogs had stayed there. Location to Whitby Centre was excellent. Parking anywhere near the home was a nightmare. Not anyone’s fault, but the noise from the seagulls at night was extreme to say the least.
