Abbey Cottage

The cottage had a wonderful charm in keeping with its age. We had everything we needed and the location was perfect. You can walk up to the canal to see the horse drawn pleasure barges.

Too many cushions! Haha!

Nothing everything was exactly what was advertised.

Quaint, close to restaurants and shops.

Lack of parking was a real problem , we had to drag luggage a significant distance to the cottage. Beds were quite hard and not comfortable. We were a party of 2 any larger and would be very tight.

What a stunning little cottage! We stayed here as a family of four as a surprise for my wife for Mother’s Day weekend. My wife was blown away by how lovely this place was. Everything we could need for our stay was provided, the cottage has all the facilities you need and was spotlessly clean. It’s got that cosy cottage feel that you want. It’s in an ideal location right by the bridge and Llangollen railway station, but tucked away behind the shops and cafe so you don’t get the noise from the road. The hosts were brilliant and made sure we were settled in and had everything we needed, thank you Kelly and Mark!
