"Highly recommended, quiet rural area close to beaches and outstanding walks and towns"

10.0

Beautiful cottages (we utilised all 3) The rooms are all beautifully decorated, lovely comfy beds and fully functional kitchens. The cottages are very rural which is great if you are looking for some peace and quiet. Beaches are about 15 minutes drive away…. They are amazing.

I found no fault with the properties

"Superb"

9.0

We had a fantastic stay at the nogg cottages. The cottages were clean, warm, and perfect for our family holiday. We were able to book the tackroom, the stables, and the grainery. The cottages are located in a secluded area. And the Christmas trees added the perfect touch to our Christmas holiday.

We would suggest the hosts provide a mop and bucket to enable guests to clean muddy paw prints from the floor.

Beautiful location in the countryside. Comfortably furnished and well equipped. We stayed in the Tack Room which had its own small private garden.

"Lovely location"

6.0

The owner, Henry, was really nice. Beautiful location. There were several cottages located in a large area with trees and lawn. We stayed in The Stable, which was the centre cottage of three. Lovely big bedroom in the eaves. There was milk in the fridge, when we arrived, as well as tea, coffee, sugar and Welsh cakes. There was a fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and cooker. There was plenty of hot water. Cottage was a nice size and was comfortable; it had everything we needed. There was plenty of space for the dogs to run around. The cottages were located off the beaten track, so there was no traffic noise. Close to interesting places to visit and lots of lovely walks. We don't surf but there was a lovely beach in Newgale, which was sandy and perfect for surfing; lots of waves. I'm not a strong swimmer, so I wouldn't want to swim here. There was another beach at Whitesands, but you can't take dogs on it between May and September. We loved St David's and Pembroke Castle and boat trip to Ramsay Island to see seals and wildlfe.

The shower was really small, as was the TV. The furnishings were a bit tired, zip was gone on a cushion and the curtains needed replacing. No wardrobe and chest of drawers were difficult to open and close. Would have been nice to have more and better quality crockery . Outside looked tired and needed painting. Couldn't walk to a shop for a pint of milk and there wasn't a pub within walking distance.

"We had a lovely stay in Pembrokeshire and coming back to Nogg Cottages was the perfect end of a day."

10.0

A lovely cottage full of character and tastefully updated. Beautiful surroundings and friendly host. Close to the lovely village of Solva with several good restaurants. The suggestions for eating and visiting in the cottage's information book were much appreciated.

We would have appreciated at least one of the beds to be a large double and a few more plates and mugs in the kitchen would mean not having to constantly wash up.

"A good place for the soul - peaceful, comfortable, relaxing."

10.0

The location is remote which made it incredibly peaceful but it is also really close to Solva (about 10 mins) which is pretty and has a decent choice of places to eat and St. David's (about 15 mins). Also great access to the coastal path for walking. The Nogg Cottage properties and surrounding areas (patios, gardens etc. ) are attractive and well-maintained. The property was comfortable, cosy and very clean. Henry was welcoming, accessible and helpful.

There is nothing which would stop me recommending this place to other potential guests.
