"Border Country Get-Away"

Lovely clean cottage in walking distance to the River Tweed and Norham castle ruins. Scotland was in eyeshot with a brief walk to the river. Norham is very quiet with a nice pub and historic church. A great place to get away from urban life. On cold nights the cottage was cozy with wood fire and well appointed kitchen for meal preparation. Dog friendly which meant all family members could be accommodated. Proximity to the wonders of the border country was very good and beautiful terrain surrounded and nearby seascapes.

Nothing that I didn't like but would point out for information sake.The cottage is on a residential street requiring curbside parking. Mobile cellular phone connections are poor. Indoors Wifi/TV initially was a bit of a challenge to sort but once connected internet worked most times. However, this is a get away place. Start a fire, pour a glass of wine and crack open a good book!

"perfect property in perfect location"

we chose it for its location - in the country yet close to Berwick on tweed. it was dog-friendly and close to lovely riverside walks. the fact that it was beautifully equipped and furnished was a bonus!
