Beautiful location

Sofa Bed was very uncomfortable

Absolutely stunning location with fabulous views and in a great area for mountain biking and walks. Plenty of parking. Lovely old barn conversion with plenty of space inside. The king sized bed was comfortable so I think it must have been replaced since the comments about the bed being uncomfortable. The owners were lovely and very helpful.

Very tired and too many issues with things not working properly or being tatty around the edges. The lounge and kitchen seating weren't comfortable, and the bath plumbing & windows were leaking (owners were not aware of this as it wouldn't be noticeable unless you were living in the space). None of the issues we felt were immediately fixable so we did not feel it was worth drawing attention to during our stay, but I am sure that the owners would have gone out of their way to fix/replace it on the day had something like the toilet or kettle broken. The £165 per night was way too high for the experience we had, and we were frankly astonished that the rating from previous guests was so high. On raising the issues with the owners I reveived a lovely reply saying that almost everything that we were unhappy with is being fixed/replaced/refurbished later this year, so I am sure that the property will then be worthy of the 9+ rating.

What an amazing place Edge Barn is; easy to find, beautifully situated, clean, quiet and comfortable. Beyond the field, where two horses roam, is a view of the Severn bridges, and a tremendous sunset. The cottage is clean and has all you need, from crockery to a washing machine. One of our favourite ever stays.

Everything. The accommodation is stunning, great facilities and very comfortable. The location is amazing with stunning views. Owners were very welcoming upon our arrival.
