Edge Barn

We were met by Patrick, the owner. He was so helpful and friendly and told us his phone number and his wifes were on the details in the house, should we need to ask them anything at any time. The barn was lovely and well laid out. Wonderful views from every room.The bed was very comfortable. I would love to swap the mattress (in the room overlooking the stable) for mine at home. Loved looking out at the horses and fields and you could see the bridge in the distance. There was everything you could need. We only booked one night as it was just a stop over but would definitely stay here again , for longer. It was a very relaxing stay.

There were no negatives.

It was beautiful!! The rooms, the decor, the hills etc. The owner was very sweet when he came over.

I mean if i have to say something it is quite far from any shops and things but thats very expected considering were in the middle of the beautiful countryside. Also one shower and toilet did lead to some queuing at night time but again, wasnt the biggest issue in the slightest!

The house was stunning and views were fantastic.

This was a lovely property which offered us everything we needed for a relaxing short break. Along with our dog we enjoyed the country walks which were available from the doorstep.

Stunning location, dog friendly, clean, well looked after, comfortable beds and spacious rooms

The only draw back was the gaps in the fencing where the horses were. The dogs had to be on lead just in case otherwise they would’ve been able to get through
