Jasmine Cottage, Upper Slaughter, Cotswolds

Beautiful, historic cottage. Calming and tasteful decor, well equipped, comfortable. Hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly. Location was just lovely. A great experience overall. Thank you.

Everything was great. We had an energetic toddler with us, and had to be vigilant with the various staircases, but that would be the case with any authentic old building

The cottage was very well equipped, perfectly situated comfortable and warm .

Very slight inconvenience of whoever is sleeping in the attic room needing to go through another bedroom to use the bathroom.

We absolutely loved our stay! We had a girls' weekend with a group of five, and from the moment we arrived, we were running around like little kids, eager to explore all the lovely areas in the house. It is even more beautiful than the photos! We also spent a lot of time in front of the fireplace with some tea (and wine). The location is perfect for taking walks to explore the area. I would definitely come back!

There was nothing major to complain about. If I had to mention something, it would be that the beds are a tad small for us big Dutch girls—but that's more of a 'me and us' problem. Also, my head took some beating from the low ceilings.

Jasmine Cottage was absolutely beautiful. Everything was kept and so generously provided to such a wonderfully high standard. The location is perfect for visiting and exploring the Cotswolds. The garden is a delight. We enjoyed every minute of our stay here and can’t wait to revisit again with more of our guests. Thankyou !

Its location in the Cotswolds. The property had everything you could possibly need for a holiday with lots of information provided by the owners. It was very comfortable but as we were 6 adults one of the bedrooms in particular was difficult to navigate especially for someone who is 6’4!

No telephone reception. £500 deposit in advance and not returned immediately. Hive system played up due to low battery charge.

Set in a quiet little spot in The Cotswolds, this cottage provided a beautiful opportunity to get away from it all. Due to its location, we used this property to host colleagues / clients for Cheltenham race week. It was spotless on arrival, had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook and the bedrooms were very comfortable. I loved the marshmallows to toast on the fire on arrival too! A 25 minute walk through the fields along a designated path and you arrive in Lower Slaughter and the most beautiful little village, with working mill wheel beside the river. Here you’ll find a welcoming pub that did amazing afternoon teas. With games and other things to do, this property would also suit a family looking for a place to stay. All in all a lovely place to stay.
