Blue Bell Lodge with Hot Tub Malton

Nothing !!! Do NOT stay at this property. There is nobody there to talk to when anything goes wrong. Turned up to find that we had no power or heating in the lodge so we were moved to another one that wasn't clean. It was just somewhere to stay for the night until they sorted the power for the one we were meant to stay in. The only saving grace was the groundskeeper that tried to help the best he could. None of the contact details or EMERGENCY numbers were answered. So we had nobody to talk to about our issue. When we spoke to the groundkeeper "Jeff" he said he couldnt get the electrician out because he was in the pub getting drunk.

Everything - The whole stay was an absolute nightmare. As mentioned already, when we arrived at our lodge (at 1600 which is the earliest you can check in) there was no electricity or heating. This was not suitable as we have a 3 year old daughter and an older woman with us. We managed to find the groundskeeper who tried to call the electrician to come and get it sorted but he wasn't able to come out because he was in the pub getting drunk. Because we were in the middle of nowhere and didn't really have any other option for somewhere to stay for that night we were moved to another lodge which was having renovations. This lodge was disgustingly filthy but we thought it would suffice for just the evening. We had no use of the hot tub at all due to the no power issue and that when the power did come back on we had to wait for the hot tub to come up to temperature. We tried on numerous occasions to call the emergency number provided for someone to come and help but there was no answer. I also sent messages via the booking app to the property and no answers. We were completely ghosted. We were also told that there was an electric car charger at the site and this wasn't the case. It is not usable by customers!! So we had to trek around the North East to find a fast charger just so that we could get home again. DO NOT STAY HERE as you will have the worst experience. All they want is your money, if anything goes wrong they don't care!!! If you actually read the reviews left you can clearly see that most of them aren't from real people and have been put there by the property to give themselves a higher rating.

Fantastic lodge very spacious nice and clean and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Beds are very comfortable and large hot tub was great.

Could not complain about anything this really is a lovely lodge.

The lodge was very well equipped. Loved the privacy of the hot tub .
