Cottage 5 minutes walk to river and town centre

The cottage was very convenient for the shops and restaurants in Stratford which really were only 5minutes away. It's particularly well placed for exploring the Cotswolds as it is situated to the south of the town meaning you have to queue in traffic to get through the town. Richard, the host, was very helpful when I had to phone him and sent someone round immediately to sort out a querry we had. The cottage was spotlessly clean and was very comfortably fitted out. There were guide books and lots of games.

Lack of pouffe and side coffee tables in the lounge . A larger freezer would also have been useful.

I know it’s not something that can be charged, but the stairs are very steep

It was close to town centre and all historical places plenty of restaurants etc Just as the host described

Unfortunately stairs are a little difficult however this did not spoil our stay

Location , cleanliness & facilities

No major dislikes , maybe mention of steep stairs & bathroom location should be there for anyone who could'nt manage ( we all did) An instruction booklet for heating & reminder to lock the front door from inside at night would be an idea?

Great all around. We enjoyed the attention to detail. Super plush towels and lovely sheets felt very luxurious and the mattresses were just right! Really close to some lovely parks for dog walking as well as to the river. We’d happily come back again.
