It was a great wee place very quiet

Was disappointed with the hot tub as only one side of the jets worked and you couldn’t adjust the pressure of the ones that did work. This was the main reason I booked here and for the price would’ve expected this hot tub to be working correctly

Beautiful and peaceful location. The Cabin was comfortable and cosy. Perfect for short stay. Lot's of outdoor space and furniture. Hot tub was very relaxing I am very happy with my stay.

The kitchen cupboards had very specific smell. Might just need to keep them open for a bit to allow cupboards to dry inside. Bigger person would have problems trying to get into the bed as the space between the bed frame and wall is small. The small road to the location had lot's of potholes. Otherwise the place was great.

Liked the location, easy to find, lovely decor

No welcome pack or information upon arrival on how to check in, use of the hot tub, etc. We waited around out the front and then ended up just going in ourselves. The first reaction place was lovely. However there was no key to lock the door messages and was told someone would bring the key ASAP they never arrived for 2 hours so we had to wait in and couldn't leave to go out and get dinner etc. When they arrived with a key, I was given a bunch of around 15 keys and was told he didn't know which key was which, so just to try them. Eventually, I found the right key. Went to go into the hot tub where we found it extremely dirty things floating around in it. There was actually dirt lying at the bottom of it around the seat and along the head rest, etc. We managed to clean it down ourselves and fish out the majority of the dirt. We then went into the cupboard to get a plate to find that the cupboard actually has mould in it, which put us off using the plates, etc. The couch is all ripped and material hanging down the side of the couch. Bedroom moving space if you're any bigger than a size 10, you're not getting into the bed without moving the bed from side to side. I went to open the wee cupboard in the room to put some things in it, and the door fell off in my hands. The garden isn't secured for a dog and is quite messy and overgrown. We also had extremely noisy neighbours, which we had resulted in us struggling to relax in the hot tub. After all of this, we were dreading sleeping in the bed as we weren't convinced it was clean. Therefore, we actually left and went home at 1am.

The cabin was clean. It was somewhat secluded.

No information as to how to check in beforehand. Upon arrival again no indication how to check in. Called number given on website but owner didn't answer. Eventually found out the cabin was already open but only after we went to check for ourselves. Would have been better to be given instructions once booking was confirmed. No informstion welcome pack or instructions to use TV, hot tub etc. Space around 4 poster bed extremely tight had to literally squeeze down the side of the bed to get into bed. The outside area could do with a tidy up and clean down.

OK, what can I say that is nice? Well, there is a lot of nice things to say about it. The hot tub was amazing , the whole cabin was nicely decorated, the bed was amazing. What made us book here was the fact they advertise it as pet friendly, which is not the case!

There is not a lot of negative to say about the cabin itself. We were talking about coming back again as the dogs loved it. What we found very disappointing was within ONE hour of arriving home we had a message from the owners in our inbox. We had picked up all our black bags of rubbish and took them with us and yeah we may have left a little dog hair (which cannot be helped as one Is a German shepherd) what we got told was how horrible we had left the place as there was some dog left hair and some on the bed too. Some debris from the trees outside found it's way in. Of course that will happen as it is all-over the decking. We didn't find that disgusting or anything, as cannot be helped. Now the owner is asking us to pay them 50 pounds for excessive cleaning. I will enclose photos of what we left behind. We assumed they automatically deep clean the cabin anyway so didn't think we needed to get the hoover and polish out before we left. Definitely NOT pet friendly as they say they get dogs every week and none leave any hair behind which is obviously not the case (every dog will mostly leave some kind of hair)

Amazing garden with bbq and hot tub and seating area, the decor inside was lovley and cosy very modern 💕 very clean and tidy, was very easy last minute booking and service was excellent x
