we were not there for very long but we could just let ourselves in and get changed before heading to a function. We then left very early the next morning.

We arrived after a horse event and were cold and wet, it would have been nice to have some milk to add to our tea.

Nice comfortable and homely.

I liked the ease of the facility. It was convenient and non intrusive from the owners. It felt very private. And it was good value for money and what we required the stay for. It was comfortable.

However, there was no extra toilet roll left out. There was no teatowel available to use. I had to change all of the bed clothes myself as the bed clothes that were on the 4 beds were filthy. There was hair and dead skin on the sheets. Also, there were cobwebs in the corners of the living room where the plugs were situated. There was also no door mat to wipe your feet. It was raining out so the floor got very wet. I had to use a towel from the bathroom to wipe up the dirt and rain from the front door. From the reviews I had read before booking my stay, it did not indicate anything near what we got. Just to add, the Union jack flags and Loyalist flags draped along both sides of the street were unexpected and quiet intimidating for myself and my family.

We had a lovely relaxing time in a perfect location. Helen and David where more than helpful. We will be planning our return in the not too distant future.

The property was exactly what we needed as a base while we were visiting family nearby. The hosts were absolutely lovely and went out of their way to be helpful. Some particular points to note: - really thoughtful to leave us a bag of shopping including milk and bread (and wine!) - kitted out really well everything you might need, including hairdryer, towels and so on but also things like tin foil for cooking - very close to a park which the chd enjoying popping down to of an evening and a local shop for supplies - the enclosed garden was great for the dog - WiFi easy to connect to on all devices We have two older chd and although it was cosy it was still plenty big enough for us all. Thanks - we will be back :)
