Salt Yard 2 - Stylish Whitstable Cottage - Free Parking - Beach - Harbour

The location is great, close to town and beach but in a quiet area.. We were able to explore without using the car. The bed was clean and very comfortable.

Disappointingly the cutlery, most utensils and some dishes were not clean and had to be washed before we could use them. Had to try to descale kettle. Note to owner: We appreciate it may be unavoidable but found the number of ants around the basin and bath unpleasant - hope this can be treated.

Nothing majorly negative at all. Garden table needed a good clean so could have been a bit better. As we were leaving the cleaners/owners outside directly opposite cottage running their engine and went straight in as we left, would have been nice to have got out the car to say hello/ask about our stay but just felt a bit uncomfortable, nevertheless a wonderful stay

Very central location. Lovely and clean. Fresh snd airy.

Only small criticism but would have been good to have a mirror somewhere where you could sit at rather than stand to do hair and make up ..? Just a slight niggle, but wouldn’t put me off staying again ;)

Nice and Clean apartment well equipped with everything you need for a short stay. Easy to access good location for town and beach

Unfortunately didn’t realise the bathroom was downstairs which I think needs to be made obvious in the write-up of the property and the bed was very small and no full length mirror and the outside table could really do with updating but these are just my opinion
