"Peaceful and relaxing."

10.0

Had a lovely weeks stay at Wheelwrights, Cindy was very responsive to any questions that we had. The property was perfect for 2 people, with views overlooking the countryside. Our flat coat loved the spacious garden and spent most of his time outside. The property was modern and had everything that you needed. Lovely well stocked welcome basket too which was a nice touch. Location was good, although to access things out of the village you need a car or there's a local bus stop close by. We explored a few local walks and the pub which was a 5 minute walk and served homeade food. The shared field was ideal for our dog to run around and let off some energy. Overall a very relaxing stay.

I know Cindy and her team fully updated one of the other properties earlier this year and this looks amazing, unfortunately not everyone is careful when using the property and there were quite a few scuff marks on the paint work in Wheelwrights. I'm sure Wheelwrights will be redecorated in the near future which will keep it looking in top condition.

"Very comfortable, very quiet and great facilities"

10.0

We were self-catering, but the kitchen was well-stocked and we had enough space for food items in the Fridge Freezer and cupboards. The sofas were very comfortable and the two televisions helped us to show children's programmes. We had some business work when the children went to bed, the internet was fast enough to do some work. Cindy and her husband were very helpful and happy to assist in making our stay memorable.

Everything was great, but blackout blinds would be great in at least one of the bedrooms but it is just a minor issue.

After collecting the key from the keybox and stepping into the living room we were pleasently surprised with a greeting box on the table, filled with local titbits. What a nice thought for the guests, whether two or four legged. A loaf of bread, and milk in the fridge. Cindy had certainly thought of everything to welcome her guests. Everything was very clean and tidy with linen and towels nice and fresh. I can thoroughly recommend a stay at Brick Kiln Barns. Dogs are very welcome.

Sorry I cannot find anything at all to write negative about the Brick Kiln Barns. Top!
