"Great house, horrible host"

7.0

Lovely house in a beautiful location.

House was not heating up after 5h of us being there so we called Sandra the host to see if she could sort it out before it’s time to go to sleep. When Sandra arrived at the property she was extremely rude and started mocking us. One of us said that we have paid money to be comfortable and enjoy our weekend. To this Sandra replied “oh well you got a good deal anyway” and carried on to say that she is most concerned that we had been in the boiler room and might have messed something up there (room was unlocked and freely accessible) completely ignoring that we have children and want to have heat in the house. Heating was sorted eventually, so we experienced rudeness and bad service for no reason. Another big disadvantage about the property is that you are not allowed to smoke anywhere on the property grounds, you have to go out to the public road and smoke there. What is the deposit for then if not for the potential damages that could be caused?
