Merlin House

Very homely and well equipped cottage which exceeded our expectations. We came as a family of three and brought our little one's grandparents with us as well as we were carrying onto a wedding on the Monday and they were taking her back home. The beds were comfy and the bedrooms all really good sizes. We had a travel cot in the twin room easliy and the dining room would have accommodated a highchair without being a squeeze but we brought a booster seat for the table instead. It was such a bonus having a bathroom with a bath and one of the bedrooms having an en suite also. The kitchen was stocked with all you could have needed and more, having a full size fridge and freezer would have been perfect if we would have stayed longer and the washing machine would have been used! Thank you so much for allowing us to stay and we will hopefully be back again as it is in such a good location for exploring the area.

Great location for visiting near by areas.

Little noisy on night with heavy traffic.

The well equipped kitchen, and a well presented house.

The driveway is not easy to navigate as it is right on a cross road with traffic lights. We also heard quite a bit of road noise at night.
