Henley self catering House

The house was perfect for us. It was much bigger than we expected. Three good sized bedrooms and the best view from a bathroom I have ever known! Everything was beautifully cared for and spotlessly clean. We spent a lot of our time sitting on the lovely patio in the sunshine with the gorgeous view. There were lots of Red Kites flying above us which was incredible to watch. The kitchen is really well equipped with everything we needed and the lounge is very comfortable with a gorgeous big table in the window where we also sat and looked at the fabulous view. Good quality speaker to connect to too and excellent wifi. We strolled into Henley a few times during our stay. Its just a 10 minute walk into the town centre and then its nice to come back to the quiet road where the house is located. We all slept like logs because it was so peaceful and the beds were extremely comfortable. All in all we had a wonderful break from our busy lives and we plan to come back again next year. I would definitely recommend this lovely homely house. Many thanks to Paul for such great communication throughout too. We loved our weekend away. Thank you!

Nothing. It was all fabulous.

Spacious rooms. Plenty of chairs/sofas and kitchen equipment. Nice big beds, plenty of towels and bedding. Spotlessly clean kitchen and bathroom. Easy walk into town. Parking was fine on the opposite side of the road. Garden was very nicely kept, with nice views.

The BBQ was full of used charcoal, which we cleaned out and then one of the legs fell off and the whole base collapsed. The bedroom blinds were very dusty.

Its location was as described, it had all facilities that were advertised, it was clean and communications between Paul and myself were excellent

Only downside was the deposit that we had to pay, however this was refunded timously

kitchen needed a lot of cleaning - the house was rather cold

Such a lovely property stocked with everything you need and more! Super convenient very close to waitrose and the centre of town. Loved spending some time in the backyard on the sun chairs in the afternoon.

There aren’t black our blinds so light does come through a little in the morning. Suggest bringing an eye mask if you prefer total darkness!

The space was excellent, plenty of garden and a big enough table to all sit around. Comfy big sofas, under floor heating in the bathroom was excellent

The shower head was poor, the description and emails we got before we stayed suggested the house was in excellent condition but the condition was mid range and tired in places. Too many emails from host before and during our stay.
