Perfect property well presented

We had the best stay at Brae Hoose, Arisaig. Perfect location to explore the local area and felt like home. Plenty space and had everything we needed and more. Brae Hoose will forever be remembered as our first trip to Arisaig and where we got engaged 💍. Already can't wait to return.

The property was spacious for the three of us.

Frankly, the house was disappointing for the price. It was not well cleaned (eg bathroom bin not emptied from previous guests, some worktos were sticky). It was not a cheap place to stay but missed many small touches which make a stay more memorable. Only one towel per person, bins not lined, heating not set to come on in the morning (although the daytime temperatures were warm, overnight was quite cold). The hot water wasn't very hot, despite switching on the water heater. The garden furniture, whilst nice looking, was very overlooked by three other properties. There was also quite a bit of road noise as it's just below the main road. There is no coffee maker despite being in the description.

It was a good place to stay for a few nights.

On using the oven, the oven pans and grill in the oven were not cleaned from the previous user. I had to clean the pans and grills, as they were greasy and uncleaned.

Lovely house Clean and tidy

It was freezing outside when we arrived. Heating was off at house and it was Baltic Inside. Left came back a few hours later. Still cold. Lovely house. But needs heating on for guests arriving in winter
