Irfon Cottage

Location and hot tub was superb.

The double bed is actually 2 single mattresses pushed together. This created a low spot in the middle

The view, the cabin and the staff were exceptional! We will be back with family soon!!

There was nothing not to like.

The property is in a lovely location with views across the valley and is very close to Builth Wells, which has lots of amenities. It was spotlessly clean and is a lovely cosy cottage.Having an enclosed garden for our dog was a massive plus too.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

It was exceptionally clean, modern, well presented and comfortable. The owners were thoughtful and helpful with clear instructions given and lovely gift on arrival. The facilities and amenities were brilliant with everything thought of and catered for. We just turned up, relaxed and cleared away when we left everything was done for us!

My only ‘criticism’ (which it isn’t really it’s more a personal preference) is that the shower could perhaps have been a little warmer but definitely didn’t affect its use or cause any problem with having a shower it was still warm and perfectly acceptable. The wake up call from the rooster at 4.30am was also a little unnecessary but hey, that’s the countryside for you! 😂

Location lovely as where the owners and we are sorry we have to complain.

The rooms were infested with flies. They were everywhere including on the table while we ate. We put up fly paper and it was soon full. The owner was aware of this and said it was part of living in the country. We have stayed at many country sites and had no problem. I do think it unfair to let out a cottage until this is sorted out. We were fortunate that the weather was good and we were able to spend time outside.

This cottage was beautifully finished and like home from home. Lush few days of family time and great sleep bed was so comfortable . All facilities worked and cottage was clean when we arrived . The garden was just the cutest with the hot tub and facilities we had to use . Even with rain we still managed to enjoy every minute . Views of the country were beautiful we look forward to returning ❤️

What a beautiful stay. The attention to detail was exceptional. Gorgeous courtyard, well equipped cottage with everything you could need. Clean and easy to use hot tub. The firepit was a lovely bonus too. The views from the terrace was gorgeous, so romantic. Would definitely recommend and return.

There were quite a few flies but nothing major.

The setting was beautiful and the welcome basket was a lovely touch. The fire pit and hot tub were great especially after a 3 hour drive!
