The house is lovely and cosy, right next to a park and also a local shop. Close to the town centre, train station & supermarkets (less than 5 minutes drive). Lovely fresh/clean bedding, lots of cups, plates, bowls, washing machine, fridge freezer, even some small towels and little body wash on the beds too. I also very stupidly left my husbands suit there, but the property owner was contacted within an hour of leaving and they're more than happy to send it back to us, which was a huge relief! The property is on a quiet street, relatively no noise whatsoever, which was such a nice change from living in a big city. It's also close to the motorway for easy access to Leeds, York, Doncaster and surrounding areas. The bonus of not having to remember to switch the hallway lights off as the lights are sensors in this area and the kitchen was lovely too, no-one likes running up the stairs in the dark!

There wasn't enough seating in the lounge for the whole family. Although the property can hold up to 8 people, there is only room for 4 people in the lounge & there isn't enough space for a larger dining table, which resulted in the family having to eat separately. The beds were a little soft/springy for our liking, but they weren't horrible to sleep in. With there being a downstairs bedroom, I expected there to be a downstairs shower room (1 up stairs and one down stairs). I think that would have been beneficial for older people who wished to stay, as the stairs are a little steep.

Good location, near to the dockyard and central Leeds. Easy parking. The property was in great condition although some of the walls were scuffed (due to dining chairs being pushed back).

The only thing I can think of (although pretty minor) is that the bedding was bland and not particularly well ironed. It was out of keeping with the overall presentation of the house. Would we book again? yes.

Some things needed attention like light bulbs needed replacing and shower couldn't be cooled in one bathroom so couldn't be used Some things weren't cleaned properly, contact owner they are passing these on to there cleaning staff to address so hopefully should be all correct for next customer
