"Very cosy and relaxing break."

9.0

Our host left fresh bread ,eggs and milk. This was very much appreciated. The location is good, walking distance to local shops, restaurants and bus stop. The property is very clean and cosy.It had everything we needed for our short stay.

The on street parking can be very busy.

"A beautiful little getaway place"

10.0

Perfectly located 5 minutes from Holywood mainstreet which had all sorts of wonderful cafes, an incredible pizza place called Little Wing, a tesco express and a boots, and 10 minutes from the local train station which is easy access into Belfast city and runs by the Titanic Quarter too. It's also within the range of the Belfast visitor pass, so if you're planning on taking public transport on your stay it's perfect It's a very clean and well-furnished house, the bedrooms and beds are very comfortable, the bathroom was spotless and the shower was easy to figure out, and the living room and dining area was very cozy. The kitchen is reasonably well furnished with two frying pans, a pot, a dutch oven, plenty of plates and bowls, as well as some spices (sea salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, mixed spice and some others), sesame oil, flour, sugar, pasta and rice in the cupboards (just off the top of my head). There was also a fresh baked loaf of soda bread on the table when we arrived, delicious! Overall a great place to stay would definitely stay again if ever visiting Belfast again.

It's a bit of a trek up from Holywood main street, 97 is on a hill so getting there with luggage was a bit exhausting. Ivan also doesn't seem to check the email (as I sent one prior to the stay and got no reply) so make sure to contact by whatsapp The stairs are a bit steep and I almost slipped a couple times The oven was very difficult to operate, very high tech with a lot of unlabeled buttons, would recommend a guidebook on the kitchen counter or on the check-in portal. Also the extractor fan above the stove doesn't seem to be working, though the light turns on, had to open windows to ensure no accidental setting off of the fire alarm happened

"Once again, great base for a long weekend visit to Norn Irn."

10.0

Second time here. Host Ivan was very attentive, arrival and access was easy, breakfast starter kit with home made? loaf was fantastic. The house is really well equipped and extremely comfortable. As a location/base, Holywood is fantastic but a car is almost a necessity.

Absolutely nothing to dislike - maybe an idiot's guide to the oven and the heating control would be useful? - but we survived.
