Renovated cosy cottage within Cranborne Chase

The property was well situated with a lovely private garden and private patio area. The property is exceptionally clean. We enjoyed a wonderful bbq - bbq provided by the hosts. The main bedroom was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook and cater for a family of 4. The utility was extremely useful with the washer and dryer (we travelled with a 7 month old baby) The cottage is cosy and pleasant. We enjoyed some lovely walks in the evening around the immediate locality with sensational views of the countryside.

There is a fantastic shop directly across the road from the cottage, however, this causes a lot of traffic and noise. We stayed during the heatwave so had the windows open and on a couple of occasions had to shut the windows due to exhaust fumes from larger vehicles. A few extra fans would be helpful for the hot weather. The shower in the bathroom was impossible to use. Despite our best efforts, it was either freezing or boiling hot. Thankfully there is a lovely bath. The sofa is in a state of disrepair, not particularly comfortable and could do with an upgrade.

Really nice place. Very convenient for shop and access to cycling routes and walks. Shed for bike.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful town. Great little shop just across the street. Good amenities-washer & dryer. Nice bathroom with extra toilet downstairs. Off-street parking. Private, secure yard. Within easy driving distance of Salisbury, Blandford Forum & Shaftesbury. Lots of pubs & cafes within 15 mins drive. Local restuarant at Church Farm Campground-Hanlegas & local sports club has bar-The Penny Tap with food vans coming in weekly.

The location was very good, the house was clean tidy and comfortable, well equipped and suited us and our dog perfectly! Local information provided was spot on. Don't be put off that the house is on the main road, it is a very quiet road. We broke a key in the door lock on arrival but a replacement was provided by James within 15 minutes !!

Only a small gripe but not keen on showers over the bath due to access as I suffer from hip issues.

Great location on the (quiet) high street; no noise at night. Very convenient parking on the drive - just needed to back out onto the high street. Plenty to see and do within about 30 minutes drive. Good sized cottage with large rooms and plenty of equipment.

The beds were a little firm for us - just personal preference, they could be fine for someone else.

Lovely property, very nicely decorated and has everything you would need for a week away. We had a very enjoyable stay!
