Kist Accommodates - Duck Hill Cottage

The house is situated in the centre of Ripon and was very comfortable. Parking a bonus for a city centre location and easy walking distance to restaurants. An excellent location for visiting other places of interest and seeing the beautiful scenery of North Yorkshire.

Location was perfect for town centre. It was clean and tidy with plenty of tea/coffee for our stay and even a box of biscuits.

Nothing - all spot on

Found dirty sock under the bed on arrival. Work surfaces dusty in the bedrooms. False eyelash found in the bed upstairs. No t towels or hand towels for the toilets. Mattress on beds downstairs you could feel the springs

It was extremely noisy, on Saturday night someone in town was having a very loud disco/rave, the noise level went up a decibel or two. There was not a decent frying pan. Massive upstairs bathroom why didn’t you have a bigger shower and a place to put soap etc. also mould in shower

location was very good, quick stroll to ripon centre ,pub ,shops reastaurants. on site parking too. KItchen very well designed and fitted out

A few things could be improved upon = the shower cubicle had very slippery tray - we felt need to buy a non slip mat to use. A chair and some more storage space or surfaces in the bathroom would be beneficial, esp as the cottage can accommodate 6/7 people. We would have appreciated provisio of a couple more tea towels, bin sacks and kitchen cloths whilst there.

Wonderful location in relation to the town and also having a parking space. Comfortable and well equipped.

We would have liked some local tourist info in the cottage and not to have to look everything up on line for instructions on how things worked
