Spaniel Cottage with views of Ham hill, Stoke sub Hamdon

Great cottage fully equipped great views would recommend for a cosy stay. Hope to return.

The property was lovely, fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The sofa was very small and uncomfortable. It was very difficult to relax on it after long walks.

Spaniel Cottage was in a great location. It was cosy, clean and had everything that you need. We loved our stay here. Heidi was easily contactable. Totally recommend.

Location, size and style

It was warm and cosy. Kitchen facilities were very good, lots of utensils, even baking tins or a food mixer. Excellent cooker (wife wanted to take it home).

The weather. Would have liked a little less rain!

The cottage was bigger than expected, we really enjoyed the log burners which were nice to sit by. Great unexpected touches such as a wide choice of Radox bubbles for the bath, a lovely welcome basket in the kitchen with an advent calendar, my son enjoyed opening a door each morning during our stay. :) The cottage was very clean, and the beds super comfortable. It was decorated nicely for Christmas too!

Due to my dietary requirements which are different to my partners it was a challenge when preparing food on the stove (some things we have to cook separately), would be great if the owners could add an extra frying pan, and some more baking trays.

The location...the facilities and the standard of the cottage were amazing, especially the bathroom and kitchen 😍
