Thoughtful extras, local knowledge with really helpful tips. All on one level for my elderly mum, comfy beds, well equipped cottage.

"Exceptional"

A very Clean property in a great location, we were greeted with a warm welcome from our hosts which included gifts inside. The property has everything we required and more. It was lovely to sit out on the decking and enjoy the quite countryside. The pub across the road does very nice food, and the beaches are a short drive away. We have booked to return already. Accommodation is excellent. The hosts are really thoughtful and have provided all you need to ensure your stay is welcoming, comfortable and easy. There is really something special about The Retreat and not just the beautiful countryside, villages and coast location it is nestled in.

"Exceptional"

10.0

This is the best place in the region by far. A piece of tranquil heaven, despite being close to the bustling streets of Hastings and Rye. Very clean, very comfortable, all the amenities you need and a great garden for kids to play in. We also enjoyed the relaxing croaking of the frogs from down in the valley.

Everything was perfect.
